Awards 

Below are some recent awards received by Atapco Properties:

 

Atapco- BBJ's Best Place to Work Finalist    USGBC LEED Gold- East Gate Marketplace
Atapco Properties was a distinguished finalist in The Baltimore Business Journal's "Best Places to Work 2010" competition, which recognized Baltimore area companies'  achievements in creating a positive work environment with a strong company culture that attracts and retains employees.   Atapco's East Gate Marketplace project was awarded LEED Gold-CS certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) system for Core and Shell, making it the first community shopping center in Loudoun County to receive this designation.
East Gate- USGBC Wintergreen Award
East Gate Marketplace was honored by the Maryland Chapter of the United States Green Building Council, at their Wintergreen 2010 Awards Ceremony, receiving an award for "Outstanding Green Project- Core and Shell".  The award honored projects that exhibited excellence and innovation in green building design.
