CLEMSON CORNER GRAND OPENING

Clemson Corner, a shopping center located at the corner of Route 15 and Route 26 in Frederick, MD announces its grand opening date

Frederick, MD:  While openings have already been held for Wegmans, Lowes and Marshalls, Clemson Corner will celebrate its official grand opening on June 25th from 10am to 2pm. The event will include performances by local bands such as “The Sons of Pirates”, entertainers and activities for the children, moon bounce, food vendors, free snowcones, as well as special discounts, sidewalk sales and promotions by the shops and restaurants at the shopping center.  Additionally, radio station Key 103 will be broadcasting live from the event with giveaways and “Minute to Win It” contests.

Merchants at the shopping center will include: Bubbles Hair Salon, Cellular Connections, Chipotle, Coal Fire Pizza, Frederick Cleaners, Frederick Wine House, GameStop, Mattress Discounters, Lowes, Marshals, Massage Envy, My Eye Doctor, Soft Touch Nails and Spa, Sprint, UPS Store, Wachovia/Wells Fargo Bank, Wegmans and Yogi Castle. Bike Escape and Taste of Asia anticipate opening this fall.

Clemson Corner is a joint venture project between Atapco Properties and Faison Properties.  The shopping center encompasses 400,000 SF of retail space and sits on 37 acres of land at the intersection of US Route 15 and MD Routes 26 and 355. The shopping center is almost fully leased and is anticipated to create the equivalent of 1,100 full time jobs for area residents.
