Creekside Apartments is part of the adjoining Creekside project with 208 Apartments on approximately 8 acres of property. The six garden style apartment buildings were designed with both 3 story “walk-up” and 4 story elevator buildings to accommodate a range of pricing and customer base. It was one of the first apartment sites designed with the Environmental Site Design type of storm water management which presented challenges during the site plan approval process with Anne Arundel County. Creekside was also the first apartment project built under the 2012 International Building Code which presented many design challenges during the initial stages of construction. In order to coordinate the architecture with original Creekside project, Atapco used a similar “Annapolis” design to include the clubhouse situated conveniently in the center of the project. The apartments consist of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom mostly surrounded by trees complimenting the site with a sense of seclusion which assisted in the marketing. The project is located near several large employment centers, shopping, and recreation with use of the extensive trail system being installed in the area. Greystar managed the leasing for the project which was leased up in approximately 9 months. The apartments were then sold to and is presently managed by TGM out of New York, NY.
