LAKESIDE GREEN BUSINESS CENTER ATTAINS LEED GOLD CERTIFICATION

Baltimore, MD – Atapco Properties is pleased to announce that Lakeside Green Business Center, a new Class A office development located in Carmel, Indiana, was recently awarded LEED Gold Certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the leading rating system for energy efficient and “green” buildings that are designed, constructed, maintained and operated for sustainability and improved environmental and human health performance.

Lakeside Green Business Center, developed, owned and managed by Atapco Properties, is a new 61,000 square-foot office building located at 645 West Carmel Drive, and is the latest addition to the 35-acre mixed-use Carmel Lakeside Development. The project is the first-Class A office building constructed in Carmel since 2009 and offers tenants amenities, such as: a beautifully designed interior and exterior, a geothermal HVAC system that reduces operating expenses and provides exceptional tenant comfort, restrooms with showers and lockers, close proximity to retail and dining options, and access to a fitness center in the adjacent Lakeside Apartments community.
