This LEED Gold, environmentally friendly, transit-oriented development, is Greenbelt, Maryland’s first new multi-family project built in the city in 35 years and will help to fulfill the demand for Class-A, modern, high-quality apartments in the area.

Among those in attendance at the ceremony were Greenbelt Mayor Emmett V. Jordan, Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce President David Harrington, Greenbelt Mayor Pro Tem Judith Davis, Greenbelt Council Member Leta Mach, Prince George’s County Council Member Todd M. Turner, as well as other representatives from local government and community organizations.

Verde at Greenbelt Station, located off of Route 193 and less than a mile from the Greenbelt Metro Station, is a 302-unit luxury apartment community featuring high-end finishes and appliances, a multitude of amenities and community spaces for residents to enjoy, energy efficient living and easy access to employment, retail and recreation. The project is designed to use 35% less water and 30% less energy than comparable buildings and was developed with the goal of creating a sustainable apartment project that did not compromise on luxury.

“Verde at Greenbelt Station continues our legacy of building sustainable, energy-efficient buildings,” said Atapco Properties Vice President Russ Powell. “We are extremely excited to bring this project to Greenbelt and set a new standard for luxury apartment living in the city.”
