ATAPCO PROPERTIES ANNOUNCES $9.9 MILLION DOLLAR SALE OF 8730 GREENWOOD PLACE IN SAVAGE, MD

Baltimore, MD, September 16, 2014 –  Atapco Properties, Inc. (Atapco) has announced the sale for $9.9 million ($81.56 PSF) of 9730 Greenwood Place, a 121,000 square foot, 100% leased, 24’ clear, front loaded warehouse building, located in the Corridor Industrial Park, just off Route 1 and Route 32 in the heart of the Baltimore-Washington Corridor. Acquired in March 2010, Atapco executed the business plan of leasing the building to stabilization and positioning the asset for sale.

“The asset was 26% leased to one tenant when we took over ownership.  We implemented a strategic marketing and leasing plan, which created a diverse, multi-tenanted industrial building with a staggered rent roll”, said Vice President, Russ Powell.  “We are very pleased with how it was received by the market”.

Atapco would like to recognize Bo Cashman and Jonathan Beard of the Investment Properties Group for CBRE and leasing brokers Tom Gentner and Brian Watts of Transwestern for their efforts in making this project a success.
