ATAPCO PROPERTIES ANNOUNCES NEW SHEETZ STORE UNDERWAY IN ASHBURN

ASHBURN, VA – [September 8, 2025] – Atapco Properties is pleased to announce that construction has begun on a new Sheetz location in the Belmont Greene community of Ashburn, Virginia. The site, located at the corner of Belmont Ridge Road and Portsmouth Boulevard, started initial groundwork in July 2025.

The new Sheetz convenience store will span approximately 5,000 square feet and will feature a comprehensive fuel station with three underground fuel tanks and 12 gas pump locations. The new store will have six EV charging stations, but they won’t be operational until a few months after the store’s grand opening. “Bringing this new Sheetz location to Belmont Greene will not only offer an all-in-one convenience experience to the Ashburn community but will also serve as a valuable partner to our neighbors,” said Kristina Moore, Vice President of Development for Atapco Properties. “We are thrilled to be breaking ground on this project and are confident that it will become a go-to destination for residents and commuters alike.”

The store is expected to open in February 2026.
